IAS carry out a range of groundwater and surface water monitoring and testing services. Our field technicians are highly qualified and experienced in the monitoring of groundwater.

We can offer a collection service as well as carrying out a range of monitoring and testing services including the following:

• Groundwater sampling
• Chemical and microbiological assessments
• Organic analysis for pesticides, herbicides, volatile organic and semi volatile organic compounds.

Landfill Monitoring

IAS are a provider of fully integrated environmental monitoring and control services. We have experienced personnel who have the full capability to carry out all monitoring requirements for IPPC, Waste and Discharge Licences. IAS currently service a number of licences around the country including Landfill Monitoring, IPPC licence water analysis and much more. We are a one-stop shop for offering package deals for all our customers.

Our field technicians are experienced in many types of onsite monitoring and testing including; groundwater, leachate and surface water sampling, dust and noise monitoring and onsite gas monitoring. Our field technicians are fully trained and certified in ‘Groundwater Sampling Methods’ (certification recognised by The Geological Society). These methods include; low flow sampling, passive sampling, three times purge technique, etc. Our field technicians have also been fully trained in the use of all groundwater sampling equipment and equipment for onsite analysis. We have a number of different types of groundwater sampling equipment including submersible pumps (WASP five stage 12V), Van Veen sampler, bailers and we also offer the supply and onsite fitting of piezometers to suit all needs.

(IAS laboratories have recently invested in a range of GC-MS and GC-FID equipment to carry out testing for organic substances. This includes List I/II substances including Pesticides and Volatile Organic Compounds. Ask further about any projects you may have and we will give you a breakdown of what we do.)
